• Account information — your email address and display name when you create an account
• Practice data — your verse practice sessions, scores, and progress
• Custom verses — any Bible verses you add to your personal collection
• Device token — a push notification token if you enable daily reminders
• Usage data — streaks, XP points, and badges earned

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the Bible Memory experience:

• To authenticate your account and keep your data secure
• To sync your verse progress across sessions
• To power the spaced repetition algorithm that surfaces verses you need to practise
• To send daily reminder notifications (only if you enable this)
• To display your streaks, XP, and badges

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond providing the app.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider based in the European Union. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We store your data in the EU West (Ireland) region.

4. Speech Recognition

Bible Memory uses your device's built-in speech recognition to transcribe your verse recitations. This processing happens on-device using Google's speech recognition service on Android. We do not store your voice recordings — only the text transcription used to score your recitation.

5. Bible Content

Verse text is sourced from public domain Bible translations (King James Version, World English Bible, American Standard Version, Young's Literal Translation) and from bible-api.com. We do not store copyrighted Bible content.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication (privacy policy)
• bible-api.com — Bible verse content
• Google Speech Recognition — on-device voice transcription
• Expo / React Native — app framework and push notifications

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Bible Memory is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for notifications at any time via your device settings
